God Uses Esther to Protect his People
Esther 3:10-4:17; Luke 4:14-19
Esther 4:14(NIV): For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
God has created every person for a unique purpose, “for such a time as this.” Our job is to be ready and willing to be used by him.
God was able to use Esther because she was:
· Teachable - Esther 4:8, Luke 4:18a, Proverbs 1:7
· A team player - Esther 4:12-14, Luke 4:18b-19
· Courageous - Esther 4:15-16, Luke 4:28-30
Jesus calls us to follow him. It’s not easy, but it is rewarding.

Luke 9:23(NIV): Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
