Exodus 14, Philippians 4:4-7
Exodus 14:10(NIV): As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.
The Israelites felt trapped, Red sea behind them, Egyptians fast approaching them. Let’s look at how faith in God can help us at such a time. Moses told Israel to:
· Stand firm - Exodus 14:10-13, Philippians 4:4
· Be still - Exodus 14:14, Philippians 4:6
· Move on - Exodus 14:15-18, Philippians 4:7
When we’ve exhausted all of our options, and all we have left is God, we’re in the best place we can be. In the name of Jesus we have the victory!
1 John 4:4(NIV): You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Philippians 4:6-7(NIV): Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
