Welcome to the Naringal Youth Groups' Home Page! The Naringal Youth Group is comprised of students from grade 5 right through to Uni Age. The Youth Group has many activites that are on throughout the school year.

Our Youth Group is a chance for young people to get together, to socialise, have fun whilst learning about the Bible and God. If you require any more info, please click on the links or contactus by either coming on a Wednesday Night, or contact Pastor Malcolm Ward. You can get here from about 6pm onwards and the actual study starts around 7ish.

By the way, we would like your ideas about how we could improve youthgroup, maybe what events you'd like to have or what topic we should tackle. Whatever's on your mind, please chat to us about it in the forums.

We have a bible study class on a Wednesday Evening from 6 PM. We have a dinner together and then play a game to do some bonding with the other youthgroup members! After this (around 7:30) we break into two groups for bible study. The younger group is for kids from grade 5 - Yr 8. The older group is for Yr9 - Yr12.

The younger group is run by Simon Schulz and Simone Cavill, and the older group is supervised by Phil Cavill and lead by Amanda Atwell .We check out a bunch of movies and discuss issues about it.

Throughout the year we have one social event per month, which helps us to socialise with other young Christians whilst having fun!

We also have one major outing per school term. So far recent outings have been to
1. VCYC (Victorian Christian Youth Conference)
2. Youth Alive (Praise and Worship Concert usually held at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne)
3. Winter Sleepout
4. And Our Annual Break-up (Which normally involves Waterskiing [if you can call that normal]).

We try and coordinate with other church youthgroups to provide the best teaching and social events. We encourage our young people to take an active role in the running of the church.. During the week there's a young mothers with pre-school children group that meets. We have several youthgroup leaders, our own young adults to provide for our young people's spiritual and social development.

Let us know if you've got a question or a suggestion on how we can better serve our young people.
